It’s time again to share a new edit of fabulous things to do in Bali, those our Honeycombers team are loving the most. Even before the ink has dried, or story posted, on our Hot New Beds or Hot New Tables round ups, new oooh-aaah places pop up here faster than the mojitos go down. And with Halloween and Melbourne Cup events on our doorstep this week, along with so much else that’s hot to trot across Bali’s ‘hoods, you should linger longer at these cool recommendations.
Lantern Bali, New Asian deliciousness
New table alert! From the brainchild of Vietnamese favourite on Jalan Seminyak @boandbun, the freshly opened Lantern Bali is serving contemporary Asian street foods with chic design. Everything is sourced locally and made by hand at this Urban Asian Eatery, for everyone who loves authentic (aka: delish!) Asian street food. You’re bound to love the vast, colourful menu ranging from pork belly, tiger prawns, curry’s galore and all those accompaniments, but you’ll love the close-to-street-market prices even more.

Hotel Komune Health Hub Retreats, Oooh-yeah
I’m already a huge fan of Hotel Komune for more reasons than we have time for, and now they’ve launched three impressive new Health Hub retreat programs. So now you can add a further ‘amazing wellness holiday’ element to their already supreme surf/beach club/health hub/sunrise/amazing food and fun/night surfing incentives, if you needed any more encouragement. As if. Their special launch offer includes multi night stays inclusive of meals and class trainings. But the hard part, is choosing which option sounds the best? Yoga + Spa, Yoga + Surf, or Fit + Detox. [Lovely] First. World. Problem.

A new luxe villa address to know about: Villa Simona Oasis, deep in the heart of fashionable Canggu, where semi-rural life and jungle beauty meets the hip and fabulous. Lush gardens, ancient frangipani trees, tropical living spaces and five luxurious bedrooms positioned for sublime seclusion or clustered for family-friendliness. Chill by the 12-metre pool and breathe in the fragrant tropical air as a large team of smiling staff, including a private chef, cater for your every need. New Canggu retail therapy, Erika Pena jewellery
A favourite of the Bali fashionista set, jewellery designer Erika Pena has opened local doors in Canggu just opposite Samadi near Echo Beach. So now there’s even lesser reason to ever leave the ‘hood – look gorgeous with local legends Milk the Goat, The Offering or Bomba, and now these fabulous jewels all within steps of a divine yoga practice… it’s a match made in hipster heaven. Even going for a yoga class or a Happy Kombucha stock up from Samadi’s Sunday markets is now an authentic excuse to stock up further.
