Baker Street Social introduces Jimmy Burchett as its new Creative Director effective 1 September 2016. Jimmy kicked off his new role with a weekend bar takeover on 26 and 27 August 2016, whereby a selection of four feature cocktails were specially created just for the two evenings.
As Baker Street Social’s new Creative Director, Jimmy has created six new signature cocktails, which were launched last month as the bar’s new seasonal cocktail menu. The new signature libations include ‘Deadpool’, a twist on the classic Mai Tai, ‘Scarlett’, a dark and dangerous sparkling cocktail and ‘Rye or Die’, a creamy, savoury, spiced up cloudy delight. The seasonal menu will be refreshed every three to four months. Popular cocktails from Baker Street Social’s previous signature menu, including ‘Smoky Old Bastard’, ‘Baker Street Cobbler’ and ‘Unusual Shades of Grey’ will still be available in addition to the new seasonal cocktails. Complementing the cocktail experience, a bar bites menu was also launched in September. The menu features comfort drink accompaniments, including charcuterie selection, cheese plates, sautéed sausages, meatballs, and toasted breads with dips.
