Celebrations Day & Night at Bali Spirit Festival 2017

March 1, 2017 Life on the Island

Yoga, dance, music and healing from both Eastern and Western cultures all come together at the Bali Spirit Festival. It is a week of liberation and sacred celebration at its finest, an energetic high point of the year, for both artists and audience. This year’s festival takes places from 19 – 26 March 2017 and celebrates the festival’s 10th anniversary.

During the day, activities, workshops, seminars and more take place at the expansive, green grounds of the Bhanuswari Resort, found 30 minutes east of Ubud. These span over many interests, from yoga and mediation to dance and martial arts with experts flying in from all over the world to lead and guide. On top of this is the Dharma Fair, a thriving market place that becomes a centre of food, stalls, community and music from the Coco Love Stage!

At night however, the BaliSpirit Festival moves to the Agung Rai Museum of Art (ARMA), where ‘The Bhakti Nights’ and ‘One World, One Stage’ musical concerts take over the grounds. Here in central Ubud, the best of positive, world music takes stage, including Australia’s Xavier Rudd who makes a BaliSpirit Festival return, this time together with The United Nations. Other special performers are Zap Mama, the Brooklyn Gypsies, Chugge Khan and Rajasthan Josh, Elijah Ray, Immanuel Jai – but this is but a taste of the performances that will take place over 7 evenings.

BaliSpirit Festival’s night concerts inspire visitors from all over the world to rave about the quality and diversity of world music that they hear. The line up is powered by extraordinary musicians and dancers who encourage conscious living and wellbeing for individuals in communities around the world.

Previous attendees of BaliSpirit Festival have described it as a ‘life changing experience’, and ‘inspirational’. From day till night, from the 19th to the 26th of March, BaliSpirit stays true to the festival’s message of peace, love and positivity. Don’t miss this one of a kind experience.
